“Ton Jiru” Pork Miso soup

Tonjiru is also a kind of miso soup.Depending on what kind of vegetables you have in your kitchen, you can swap the ingredients as long as you have thin sliced pork.

Ingredients
100-150g of thin sliced pork
half eggplants, sliced in 5mms
half zucchini,sliced in 5mms
3-5 Okura, cut in 1.5 cms
1/4 sliced onion
500ml of Dashi
50g of miso
white pepper
2-3 Myoga jinger, sliced *Can be normal ginger.
3-5 Japanese basil


Instruction

1. In a pot, warm 500ml of Dashi on a stove.
2. When boiled, add eggplant, zucchini and onion and cook until all become soft.
3. Add Okura and pork and cook.
4. When boiled, turn off the heat, and add miso, and make sure all miso is dissolved.
5. Add white pepper, about 2-3 shakes and Myoga ginger and Japanese basil.
