Sprout has a very light taste so is good with spiced sauce. This sesame garlic sprout is just too addictive to stop! The key is not to overcook sprout.
Ingredients
1 pack of sprout
Very small amount of thin sliced carrot, or chives or spring onion cut in 2-3cm *Optional, only if you have in your fridge.
1-2 tablespoons of roasted sesame
For sesame garlic sauce
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of sesame oil
1 clove of garlic, grated
1/2 teaspoon of doubanjiang (Chinese Chili Beans paste)
1 pinch of salt
Instruction
1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients for the sauce.
2. Cook sprout in boiled water 30-60sec, and get rid of water.
3. Add and mix sprout in the sauce.
