Madelaine is actually easy and quick to make while it is quite expensive at a shop. I recommend of using a shell pan.
Ingredients
100g of plain flour
100g of granulated sugar
100g of melted butter
2 eggs, whisked
1 pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Instruction
1. Sift flour, sugar and baking powder. Or, in a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and baking powder with a whisk well.
2. Fold eggs and vanilla essence into 1.Once you don’t see flour, stop. Do not mix too much.
3. Fold melted butter into 2, with 3-4 times, with a spatula. Do not add too much butter at a time.
4. Rest the batter in a fridge about for 30 mins. Preheat the oven at 180C.
5. Spray oil to a shell pan. With a tablespoon, scoop the batter and drop into a shell each. It will rise a lot so do not put batter too much, it should be about 70% of each shell.
6. Bake for 15-20 mins. Check the batter at 15 mins with a stick, if it is baked, take them out.
