Japanese Beef And Tofu Stew

0

“Niku Tofu” (meaning meat and tofu) is a comfort home food for many Japanese. Tofu absorbs ‘umami’ from beef and onion, and all ingredients work so well. You can add some extra vegetables if you like such as Shiitake mushroom and Chinese cabbage.
This goes really well with white rice. I also sometimes add cooked udon noodle at the end and cook with all for 5 mins to make udon absorb the flavor of the soup.
