Natto is considered as a super food in Japan. Basically it is fermented soy beans, and smells quite unique and slimy. It is very popular in Japan. It took a few tries until my husband started loving it, but once you get used to the smell and the texture, you will love it. The typical way to eat natto is to mix with rice and soy sauce, and this is the other popular way.
I often mixed natto with chopped boiled spinach or 3-5 chopped fresh okra.
Ingredients (for two)
2 packs of natto
