Honey Mustard Salmon

1+

Salmon is very popular in New Zealand. New Zealand Salmon is quite fatty so I am including a step to make it less fat. If you like salmon as is, you can skip the step 1.

Ingredients (for 2)
2 pieces of Salmon
1 lemon, sliced
Salt
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of honey
2 teaspoons of Dijon whole grain mustard
2 teaspoons of soy sauce
2 pieces of garlic, sliced or chopped

Instruction
1. Sprinkle salt both side of salmon and leave it for 1-12 hours.
2. Preheat oven at 190C.
3. In a small bowl or a jar, mix olive oil, honey, mustard and soy sauce.
4. In an oven pan, place sliced lemon.
5. With a kitchen paper, wipe all excess water around salmon.
6. Place salmons on sliced lemon, skin down.
7. With a spoon, pour and spread the sauce on the salmons. Sprinkle sliced or chopped garlic.
8. Bake the salmon for 15 mins or until cooked as you like. The baking time could vary depending on the size of your salmon. If you still have the sauce left, in the middle of baking, add on the salmon.
9. When cooked, take it out.
