Teriyaki Fish

Teriyaki fish is very easy to make, and sweet soy sauce flavored fish goes great with white rice. You can do with any kinds of fish. I suggest of marinating fish in sauce for at least mins, and this is the difference from how you make Teriyaki chicken.


Ingredients

300g of fish
Vegetable oil
For teriyaki sauce
1.5 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of mirin
1 tablespoon of sugar
1.5 tablespoon of sake

Instruction
1. Marinate fish in the mixture of all the ingredients for teriyaki sauce for at least 30 mins. Flip the fish a few times.
2. Take the fish out from the sauce, and wipe it with a kitchen paper. This is avoid to get the fish burnt too quickly. Keep the sauce aside.
3. Add a little of vegetable oil and heat a fry pan. Place the fish and cook. Flip it when the surface looks cooked. If there is a lot of oil coming out from the fish, wipe with a kitchen paper.
4. When the fish is almost, 70-80% cooked, add the teriyaki sauce used for marinating fish in the fry pan.
5. Keep the medium heat, and try to coat the fish with the teriyaki sauce while thickening the sauce, for 2 mins.
6. Turn the heat down to low. With a spoon, pour the sauce on the fish. When the sauce is thick enough, turn off the heat.
