This is my mom’s dry curry. The key is to add raisins and cook with canned tomatos. Spicy and sweet!
Ingredients
4-500g of ground beef
1 onion
1 carrot
1 pepper
1 teaspoon of grated ginger
1 teaspoon of grated garlic
1 can of tomatoes
1 grab of dried raisin
3-4 tablespoons of curry powder *depending on how spicy you like
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
salt
Topping
boiled eggs, poached eggs, pickled, gherkin, or any kind of pickled vegetables
Instruction
1. Chop onion, carrot and pepper in 1cm cubes.
2. In a fry pan, with oil, saute onion and carrot first, then add ground beef and cook until beef is cooked.
3. Add pepper, ginger and garlic to 2.
4. Add curry powder, and cook.
5. Pour canned tomatoes, a grab of raisin, bay leaves, worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
6. Cook until the water is evaporated the mixture becomes thicker.
7. Taste it and add salt and pepper if needed.
8. Serve with rice and your favorite toppings
