Liver is not easy for me to enjoy, but this one by my husband and the chicken liver pate I posted before changed my life. My husband knows very well about how to treat meat and he always does an amazing job for liver with no exception. This onion lemon sauce is the best match with fried chicken liver.
Preparation for liver
1. Clean and remove the blood from liver carefully, and wash all in running water.
Ingredients
3-400g of Chicken liver
Half onion, sliced
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 lemon juice
1/8 of lemon, chopped in 5mm, with skin
Butter
Salt and pepper
Instruction
1. Put chicken liver in a bowl, and mix with lemon juice. Leave for 15 mins.
2. While marinating liver in lemon juice, prepare onion and garlic. Add butter in a fry pan, and saute onion and garlic until they become brown.
3. Add 1 including lemon juice and chopped lemon into 2, and saute until liver is cooked.
4. Add salt and pepper as you like.
